Ford Focus RS from Loder 1899 produces 345 hp

Since it appeared on the market, Ford Focus RS was an inspiration for large tuning houses. Past who left their mark on the new hot-hatch are engineers Loder 1899, who injected car 45 extra horsepower.

Thus, the Focus RS is the most powerful series-wheel drive front axle. In view of the German tuner, 2.5 liter turbo engine from the Focus RS now developing 345 bhp, while maximum torque has been increased from 440 to 520 Nm.

Those from 1899 say Loder miracle ingredient is the completely redesigned exhaust system, which apart from a sound scarier, offers an additional 20 horses, while the system was recalibrated ECU. In addition, the RS site has received new sports suspension that reduces ground clearance by 35 mm and a new set of alloy wheels Vertigo by 20 inches, which are large compared with the 1 inch series.

All of these changes cost 6500 euros.

First Ford Focus RS rolls off the assembly line

38 Years have passed from the day the first RS rolled out the assembly line and now, in Germany the new Ford Focus RS rolled out and made us very happy. The best Focus ever and the fastest one will be available shortly  – 300hps, 440 N/m,  a top speed of 263 KM/h  and 5.9sec from 0 to 100 km/h makes it the faster Focus ever.  We can hardly wait for a test drive.

2009 Ford Focus RS Blue – Sweet

Ford gave us some pictures featuring the 2009 Ford Focus RS in blue paints. The RS is practically an upgrade on the ST version with an aggressive body kit and more power  – a modified Duratec 2.5-liter 5-cylinder which develops 300PS and over 410Nm of torque and is capable to accelerate from 0 to 60 in 5.9 seconds and a top speed of 164 mph. Modifications to the standard motor include unique camshafts, a revised cylinder head and intake manifold.
