"If Pontiac can do it, we can do it" said the people from Ford Australia in response to the new V6 engine that Ford wants to send to Australia. They want to save a lot of jobs at Ford`s Geelong plant and in the same time to keep the Australian Suppliers healthy. It makes sense if you think for a second about this. Why to ship engines and car parts from another continent with expensive shipping when you could just build them here(in Australia). They`ll improve the engine so that it will meet the Euro 4  emissions standards and will keep lower the vibration characteristics. It`s an initiative that we all salute. Good job Ford Australia.
