Ford Kuga will be produced in USA starting from 2011
Since 2011, Ford will no longer produce  Kuga in Europe but the United States. By this decision, yet unconfirmed, the new and elegant Compact SUV will reach the North American market  three years after of its release.
According to Bloomberg news site, Ford Motor Company will move in October 2011 Kuga production in the factory from Saarlouis (Germany) to that of Louisville (Kentucky). Annual European dealers will go  80,000 copies Ford Kuga.
The main reason for the Ford Kuga will be manufactured overseas is the lower production costs compared with those in Europe who come amid dollar’s depreciation against the euro. Only in 2009, the dollar lost 18 percent of the single European fatamonedei.
I am so ready for this car. I would like to get rid of my old Honda CRV and my newer Honda Civic and drive one car that does everything I need. Please Ford, make the back seats fold FLAT. I usually carry a dog kennel in the back and my pups are not happy riding back there if the surface is not level. I have ruled out many cars because of this problem. I want to buy and American car, made here from a company that did not take money from the Feds. That’s you Ford, so don’t let me down!
I could agree more, re: back seats that fold flat; currently have a Freestyle for this reason.
Really like the looks of the Kga.
